Apartments Muncel Rab

Situated in the small town of Kampor, our apartments lay in the northwestern, greenest part of the isle of Rab. Away from the city crowd and the everyday stress, there are two modern, equipped apartments waiting to make your rest pleasurable and complete. Welcome to our home as the obvious choice for your island adventure and an unforgettable vacation on one of the most beautiful islands on the Croatian coast. The Mikelić family

The house is situated in a quiet place in the middle of a small village Kampor, overlooking the St. Eufemija bay and the old town as well as the Dundovo park-forest situated on the Kristofor peninsula melting away with numerous bays of the blue Adriatic. The Muncel apartments are placed in a two floor house with an attic, accompanied by a private parking space and a garden with an open barbecue fire place accessible to all guests. Two air conditioned apartments suitable for four and six guests are in the second floor – the attic. Each consisted of two bedrooms, a bathroom, living room, dining room and a balcony. Both are equipped with AC, digital satellite television and all guests have an access to a washing machine as well as the Internet.

The apartments are 70-75 m2 big, they have possibility of an additional bed being set up, linen are provided and weekly changed, kitchens are fully equipped with integrated appliances: cook top/oven, refrigerator/deep freeze, coffee machine, dishes, cookware. In living room there is a retractable couch, suitable for one or two people. Bathroom has shower bath, basin and WC, towels are weekly changed. Bouth have terrace and balcony with table, chairs and parasol. They are air conditioned (cold/heat system), have TV with digital satellite, high speed wireless internet access. Washing machine is available to all guests, parking space is reserved. Smoking is allowed, you can bring with you your pets, on request. We can provide you a boat berth, too, the price is 10€ per day.

Rab is an island, a piece of the Kvarner Bay archipelago in the northern part of the Adriatic Sea. Together with smaller isles surrounding it, the surface of the island is 86,14 square kilometers. At its longest part the island measures 22km while at its widest part it is 11km wide. In addition to the ancient town carrying the same name, there are seven other idyllic places scattered over the island: Barbat, Banjol, Palit, Kampor, Mundanije, Supetarska Draga and Lopar. The island of Rab is characterized by a pleasant climate well fitting those suffering from pulmonary and cardiac problems. The local tradition has a long history of offering high quality services which are the result of skill, experience and hospitality by the local populace. The clean sea, numerous different beaches, rich vegetation, cultural events, cuisines and nightlife make this island a perfect location for recuperation. The crystal-clear Adriatic Sea splashes the intact and diverse shores of the island that make the whole island a unique seaside resort. The summer sea temperatures vary from 25 to 27 degrees Celsius. The island offers beaches to fit everyone’s taste: rocky beach in the west, pebble beach in the east, and sand beaches in the north of the island.

The town of Kampor is situated in the north-western part of the island of Rab, on the coast of the wide Kampor cove (Kamporska Draga). The Roman name originates from the word campus (field). The current population is near 1,500. Kampor is rich with forests and many sandy, pebble and rocky beaches and bays. The island of Rab has many beaches. One of larger is sandy beach "Veliki Mel" in Kampor, that lays 200m from our house. There is also one of the most popular FKK beaches in the region named "Kandalora" or "The English beach" as English king Eduard VIII bathed there in 1936.

Amenities include restaurants, tennis, beach volleyball and basketball courts, boat excursions and a scubadiving center. Tourists also have opportunity to rent small boats, bikes and mopeds. Arts lovers may be interested in a museum which is part of St. Eufemia´s monastery and the World War 2 memorial cemetery. The green environment - the vicinity of the Kalifront peninsula with the well-preserved Dundo Forest - provides a nice scenery for long walks, and the nearby tourist resorts Suha Punta and Rab offer entertainment in the evening.
