Pag is one of the largest islands in the Adriatic Sea. Olives are harvested in October and November,  part of them are salted and preserved, most of are transported to the oil factory in Lun, where it is produced high quality olive oil.Fishing is developed today, too. Novalja is at the side of the island, which is on the open sea, many fishing boats sail to Rab, Cres and Lošinj, sometimes even to the middle Adriatic in search for big and quality fishes.

Most Important industry is tourism. The biggest boom was experienced at the beginning of the last millennium in sixtyes, his beginnings were much earlier. Already in 1929 was the first printed travel brochure of Pag.Today, Pag has around 12,000 tourist beds, in the summer here come in average 50,000 tourists. Tourism development has accelerated the development of related trade and catering. Tourists can stay in apartments and rooms and hotels.

Pag´s triangle

This event was witnessed about thirty inhabitants of the town of Pag, and there is a police report of the event. Unusual flying objects have repeatedly been seen by anonime persons, who did not want media attention, mainly due to the fact that they will be laugh at. Such phenomena was not pnly in the area of Pag. January 1997 was seen unusually light over the southern part of the island phenomenon first reported by island cops and then the next few days normal domestic citizens, the surroundings of Zadar, Karlobag and others. Also on Komorovac, south of the ferry lines Zigljen, towards the town of Pag, found in the Yellow-bellied rock imprint on the shape of a triangle, area of a little less than 700 square meters.

The triangle has large 32x32x22 meters and has the form of iron. The specialty of this triangle is that it is different than rocks in the area, as honed or rough treatment.
