Brodarica is a quiet and pleasant suburban village, located 7 km south from the old town center of Sibenik. Brodarica is Maldo village, built by the inhabitants of the island Krapanj, who have decided to settle on the mainland. Brodarica is a suburb of the city Šibenik situated 5 kilometres far from center of Šibenik. It is very well connected with Adriatic Highway which divides it into two parts. There are many buses driving to Brodarica, so you will always be able to find transport. People in Brodarica are mainly working in tourism and fishing. There is also small island Krapanj famous for its sponge harvesting. Accommodation in Brodarica is mostly private apartments and villas which is ideal for peaceful family vacation.
