Apartments Villa Lilly Pag

Our apartment house is located on the island of Pag in the town of Povljana. The apartments are modernly furnished and come in different sizes (4+2, 3+2, 2+2, 2+1, 2). The beach is 30 m away, and the second sandy one is 180 m away. Bars, restaurants, shops, clinic, pharmacy, post office, ATMs and more are nearby. The tennis court is only 500 m away, there is a volleyball court on the beach and the Adria AquaPark next to it. The apartments are equipped with a refrigerator with a freezer, air conditioning, plasma TV, they have all the necessary dishes and accessories, plates, glasses, tea towels, etc. You also get small towels for the bathroom and clean bed linen. The building has free WiFi and you also have your own free parking space for each apartment you book. You can also use the barbecue in the yard.

At crystal clear sea, where Dalmatia Kvarner islands in the south of the island of Pag in a beautiful bay, there is Povljana. Facing west is sheltered from strong winds, storms and winds. There is a church of St. Nikola from the 10th century next to the beach itself, whereas 2 kilometres further, in a water-rich field, stands the church of St. Martin dating from the 14th century. Near the settlement, next to the very sea, you can find healing mud perfect for those with rheumatic discomforts, while those who are sport recreationists can enjoy sea and freshwater fishing on lake "Veliko Blato", go hiking one of the nearby cliffs, playing tennis, volleyball, bowling, cycling, or sailing and surfing when landward breeze starts blowing from the west horizon. Gourmands will find pleasure in fruits of untouched nature, by far known cheese of Pag and lamb sweetened with white Povljana´s wine called "Gegić". Povljana is a place for family holiday, where everyone can find a beach to his own taste and many various attractions with proper equipped infrastructure (sports facilities, ambulance, pharmacy, post office, self-service shops, restaurants).

The island of Pag is one of the biggest Adriatic islands: it is the fifth largest island with 285 square kilometres. Its 270 kilometres of the indented coastline make it the island with the longest coastline on the Adriatic, rich with coves, bays, beaches and capes. The biggest bay, the bay of Pag, is rounded by 27 km of the gravel beaches. Pag is unique due to its vegetation where trees are the rarest form. Therefore, Pag is the largest kingdom of rocky ground on the Adriatic, where thin grass, low aromatic herb cover, sage and immortelle grow. They make the foundation of the nourishment of the island´s sheep on the rocky ground, intersected by long dry stonewalls, giving a special flavor to the well known cheese of Pag. Pag is famous for its first class sheep cheese and lamb, as well as various seafood specialities and natural sea salt. The island itself got the name after the town of Pag which was constructed in the 15th century, according to a plan and as a fortified town, and therefore it offers an exceptional feeling on a sightseeing tour. The original salt manufacture by draining of the sea, which is brought in the small clay pools (saline), is still present on the island. The town of Pag is also the town of needlework- the famous lace. Every lace is a unique item. The slow and demanding process of making them has been nourished through centuries and still lives in the streets of the old town. The island of Pag offers unusual shapes, wild exoticism, gentle oasis, hiking trails and shallow bays. Visiting all these places might last even several days. Going round the north side of the island is recommended strictly during the summer, when everyone with even a little bit of investigator mentality would experience an unforgettable adventure away from the throng, in a particular world of the rocks and the sea.
