Camp Korita Soca

Camp Korita lies in Trenta Valley, in the heart of Triglav National Park, right next to the Small Gorge of the Soča river. The camp offers different accommodation options, including their very attractive ´Villas Soča´ - small wooden cottages for 2 guests. The beautiful surroundings are a "playground" for everyone: be it a demanding top-level athlete or a family with children who just want to dip their feet in the Soča river. Do you dare to jump in the cold river from the nearby 8-meter bridge?

 The camp is divided in three thematic parts: the Classical camp, Glamour camp and the Eco camp.

 In the ´´classical´´ area you can pitch your own tent, own caravan, you can rent a caravan or a bit bigger mobile house. There is also a parking area for campers.

 The nearby ´Eco camp´ offers you Trenta tents and hanging tens, with no doubt very interesting way of camping, with sleeping under the stars. Trenta tents are suitable for 2-3 persons. Hanging tent is for 1 person.

 In the Glamour camp you can sleep in a ´hostel room´ (in the wooden house above the reception), hostel has 6 beds. It offers also the fabulous ´Villas Soča´ - small wooden cottages for 2 guests, we say »just for two of you«. Apart from this you can also sleep in a tent for 2-3 people, equipped with mattresses, blankets, pillows and a wooden roof on top, which adds comfort in rainy days. The ´adventurous´ guests can sleep even in a hammock! :)  Room is for 4 persons, has electricity and common use of toilet.  Mobile houses are new, very modern and nice equipment, they have kitchen with all you need to prepair and serve meals, 2 separate bedrooms and bathroom.

In camp 2 x daily comes mobile shop and the restaurant is 1 km away. On the neighbouring farm it is possible to buy organic produced food and subscribe to breakfast or dinner.

 There is also a children’s playground and a place for volleyball or badminton. In the evenings guests gather around a camp fire and local culinary specialities (brought from the nearby farms) are put on the grill. Children admire our fairytale house.

 Location is superb: the crystal-clear Soča river, the mountains of Trenta valley, gorges and waterfalls, cycling trails and the steep climbs will lure you away from the comfortable embrace of the camp. You can arrange all kinds of activities at the reception, from water sports to climbing, horseback riding or skydiving. Prior reservation of the activities is advisable!

 On the place, where now is camp was in 1.WW, between 1914-1918 hinterland of the battle lines of the Austrian army - barracks, where soldiers were sleeping.    CAMP KORITA (GORGES) in 1989 opened my grandfather, Mr. Jože Kašca, when he was already 66 years old .

 Camp Korita is one of the most unique camps in Slovenia and in the entire range of the Alps.

 This is a camp which aims to raise awareness among visitors about the importance of preserving the environment. Mo-to is actively camping in harmony with nature.

 Camp Korita was in 2014 renovated for a better experience and feeling of guests.  The whole camp is covered with WiFi signal, the children are given to didactic play and playground.

 Guests with campers also have the possibility of the discharge of waste water and the use of chemical toilets. They also have possibility to use a washing machine and drier.

 The campsite also governed a place for evening social events, guests are also barbecue.

 The camp is an excellent starting point for all sports activities, which also organized on the Soca river for example. rafting, canyoning, kayaking, canoeing, hydro-speed and snookering. You may also stay dry and go on biking, climbing, horseback riding, parachute jump or walk along the many hiking course around the area.

 Take your time and enjoy the memorable moments offered by the peaks of Bovec. Allow the emerald Soča River to fill you with energy and let your mind wander under a crystal clear sky filled with countless stars, where time seem to stand still.

 The karst springs in the middle of the Julian Alps and through the rapids in Trenta waterfalls to troughs and pools in the Bovec basin emerald reflections upsets imagination, excites the senses and stroking views. For many the most beautiful European river under the auspices of the 2000 m high mountains delineates the closest bedrock gorges, impressive in its extensive gravel river bed, it brings the sea most powerful torrential waters. Now passionate sparkling, now virgin still surprised by life in itself, now trapped in a narrow gorge, and after that spilled in charm and magic.
